GCI Design & Plan Institute of Communication Engineering (GCI Design), founded in 1995, originally known as the Plan & Design Center of Electronic System Engineering under the Electronics 7th Research Institute of MII
GCI Design conducts its business in Radio Network Planning and Optimization and has earned the trust of Customers for its quality work, dedication, reliability, and delivery on large-scale network planning and optimization projects.
Our businesses cover 22 provinces and autonomous regions in China, and also more than 10 countries in the AP region and the MANA region. We have already completed over one thousand projects of network planning & design and optimization awarded by China Unicom, China Mobile, China Netcom and China Railcom.
We are now ongoing international wireless network planning and optimization projects with overseas operators such as NTS and MSI in Indonesia and Algeria Telecom. 2 overseas branches were set up in Indonesia and in Hong Kong in order to meet immediate and growing requirements of our clients abroad.
The sales income in 2003 and 2004 is 176.2 million and 194 million respectively. The total investments of the projects which we have been responsible for planning and design are over 10 billion RMB annually.
